Its that Time Again{TokyoBay Review & Discount}

It is that time of year again. The time when kids get ready for school again, the city pool closes their doors for the season and Labor Day graces us with its presence. I always think back to that first day of school and what I was going to wear. I get all nostalgic thinking about my back-to-school shopping trips and picking out what to wear that first day. I used to get sad as I watched all of the kids getting new outfits, while I was too old to school shop as a young adult. I have decided not to let this opportunity pass though, so I use this time to start prepping my Fall wardrobe, too! Its the perfect time to find great pieces to use for the Fall/Winter and also to find new, unique accessories for the season.

I was ecstatic when I found TokyoBay while browsing through Garnet Hill’s catalog. I’ve been really wanting a new watch, specifically something fresh and not the classic style I usually gravitate towards. I noticed a few fabulous watches on Garnet Hill’s models and just had to figure out where they were from. I was really excited to finally find TokyoBay, especially because they have so many amazing choices for all types of people.

This is one of my favorites (again I lean towards a classic look) and I love the pale pink.

I also thought this Lino watch would be a fun accessory for the Fall, too. Its different and looks like it could be a cuff or something to really finish off an outfit, don’t you think?

I was trying to stay away from any silver linked watches or classic leather bands, since my current watch is silver links and I really wanted to try to get something unique and fun this time.  This Swap Watch really caught my eye. Talk about nostalgic! It reminded me of Swatch Watches growing up. These are just so much better quality then the rubber bands my old Swatch Watch was. The best part about them? The watch face is really sturdy and slides easily from one band to another to match your outfits.

TokyoBay has a variety of Men’s watches, too. I really love my husband in a classic, leather banded watch. I was surprised how much I liked this one with the square face. I think its just enough to make people take second glances, don’t you?

The Spy

Amber, from TokyoBay sent me two watches to review. I received the Swap Watch (mentioned above) along with the Gaucho Watch in Brown.  The Swap Watch was exactly like the picture. I loved the nice weight bands and their hardware was really good quality for being a few different bands to swap out. I really loved the face of the watch. The black face made all of the colors pop as I switched the bands. I also loved how the bands laced through the face of the watch to ensure it would stay in place. I remember the old Swatch Watches always popped in and out and I’d lose the face sometimes if it wasn’t on securely.

Hands down, my favorite was the Gacho though. It was the exact style I was envisioning for a new watch. I love that its a leather band, yet its not the typical classic looking band at all. Since leather band bracelets are really popular this Fall, I’m excited to have this simple yet different watch to fit right in with. The leather itself is very soft and flexible. It has 3 size adjustments on the band so I can make it tighter if I need to. The watch is also very light weight. I had it on yesterday and almost forgot it was there.  The Gaucho comes in three different color choices including Tan, Natural, and Brown.
