Flat Iron Experts Review

One of the best days I’ve had in the last few months was the day a nondescript package arrived in the mail. It had totally slipped my mind that the wonderful folks at Flat Iron Experts had offered to send me one of their flat irons for review.

After I opened the package, I was still a little confused, as it barely weighed anything. You would have thought only bubble wrap was inside. After all, the Avanti Ultra only weighs .88 pounds! Are ya kidding?

That there is the Avanti Nano-Titanium Ceramic Silver Digital Flat Iron (1 3/8”).  Oh yes.  Drink in its fabulousness.
For a second, I admit that I wondered if such a lightweight flat iron could be all that good. (Yes, I’m one of those from the school of thought that thinks that weight contributes to the “quality” of products…silly, right?) The Avanti Ultra made that thought leave my mind in less than 30 seconds. Literally. It heats up to 430 in less than 30 seconds. Wait. Let’s not move too quickly through the glory that is the Avanti Ultra.
Again, I admit that I was so anxious to try it out that I didn’t give it a thorough look-over before plugging it in. After I plugged it in, I glanced at the flat iron and didn’t see anything light up. Great! It doesn’t work. Wait a minute…is that…an on/off button?

No way. Once I turned on the Avanti Ultra, I lit up like a little kid on Christmas morning. It beeped and the numbers on the flat iron display lit up. Once again, I thought there was something wrong with my new flat iron. The numbers were constantly moving, indicating that the temperature was quickly and steadily increasing. That couldn’t be right. It hit 150 almost immediately. Before I knew it, boom, we were at 430. Could it really be ready? Impossible.

Oh no. It was not only possible, it was true! I picked up the flat iron, looked in the mirror, and took a deep breath. This could change the way I straighten my hair from here on out. I have long, thick, somewhat curly hair, so I am never too optimistic when it comes to flat irons. But I found myself getting hopeful with the Avanti Ultra. It’s so pretty, so sleek, so it’s almost sexy, if that’s possible. I grabbed a small section of hair and the flat iron slid from my scalp to the end so quickly that I almost had to deliberately slow down. Wow. It literally glides through your hair. This is getting good.

It works like magic…but I guess that’s what happens when you use one of the best flat irons out there. Apparently, that’s what the Avanti Ultra is — and wait til you see all the benefits of the Nano Titanium/Ceramic Technology, the Nano-Silver, the Negative Ion Technology, and the Far Infrared Heat.  I’m in love.  And — and — it’s currently on sale for $159.95, down from $249.99.  Is it worth it?  Yes.  YES.  YES!  It is, hands down, the finest flat iron I’ve ever had the privilege of using.

But, hey…maybe the Avanti Ultra isn’t for you.  Well, don’t fret.  The Flat Iron Experts have every possible flat iron you have ever dreamed of.  Every good possible flat iron, that is.  The Flat Iron Experts don’t sell flat irons you could buy in Walmart or Target.  Their flat irons are professional quality, not the run-of-the mill flat irons you have to replace regularly (seriously, how many flat irons have you owned?) that peel, that pull your hair, that you have to run through your hair repeatedly to get it straight.

To top it off, they have a lowest price guarantee and offer free same-day shipping on orders over $75.   Right now, they’re tossing in three free items on all orders over $100 — a KQC mini iron, a heat pouch, and an iron holder.  What more can they do — other than sell the very best flat irons at the very best prices, ship them for free, and throw in some free goodies?  I mean, heck…the only thing they’re not doing is straightening your hair for you!  What are you still doing here?  Get over there and find yourself a new flat iron!

I was not paid for writing this review.  Flat Iron Experts provided a product for review.  My opinions are honest.
