Dress Easy-Chic with Jules Reid {Review}

We are headed on our 2 week family vacation to Massachusetts in a few weeks and I’m frantically planning what I’ll be packing for the trip. We stay a full week at a beach house on The Cape (Cod) spending our days with our toes in the sand/water and our evenings dining on fresh seafood and ice cream. Whenever I think of what to wear at the Cape,  I have images of bright, preppy yet classic clothing pieces. I picture my boys in their madras shorts with polos shirts and Addison and I in fun summer dresses for dinner on the water.  Jules Reid has exactly the look I’m always striving for. I love her easy-chic looks that offer that vibrant mix of colors I’m always seeking out.

I am in love with this a-line dress, The Harrison. This dress reminds me of  images of Jackie-O in the summer at the Cape herself. I love the ikat prints with the orange fabric.

The Harrison comes in a variety of patterns, too which makes deciding which is my favorite very difficult.

Of course I always have a place in my heart for a maxi dress. Especially when its The Harper Two dress in daisy stream turquoise. Maxi’s are the perfect dress for any occasion- you can dress it down for the beach or BBQ with flat sandals or flip flops and then add some sassy heels for an evening out with your honey.

I love this maxi, too. The Baroness has such a flattering shape and I love the emphasis right under the bust-line, that really makes your waist look small.

Well, my wishes came true because Jules Reid sent me my absolute favorite dress for my vacation. I’ll be dining by the water in just a few weeks in The Harrison dress. When my package arrived, it was neatly packed with boutique wrap and I found a few little goodies beyond my dress inside. I received a really cute Jules Reid note pad (its already on my home office desk- thank you, Jules!) and the 2011 Fall/Winter look book. I was very excited to see the book. Let me say if you love what you see here,  you are going to really love their Fall/Winter collection. The Harrison dress I received in my normal dress size and it fits perfectly. I would definitely say you don’t need to order a size up or down when ordering with Jules Reid. The dress itself is made of wonderful, extremely soft cotton and and has a gorgeous Riri exposed zipper up the back. I really cannot wait to pull this out for dinner one night. I’m thinking I’ll use it for my date night with just the hubs (lucky for us my in laws offer to watch the kids a few nights for us).
