I bet you have a kid or two on your holiday shopping list. If you do, you know how important it is to find them something fun but also something they don’t already have. That’s why I love shopping at Galison Mudpuppy! They have such a variety of items for small tikes and up. The best part about their site is their uniqueness. They have such different toys and activities for kids that they can make learning (and playing) a whole lot of fun.

One of my all-time favorite items I found on their webstie was their ring flash cards. I love the idea that the flashcards are all securely in place together as you use them. What a wonderful way to not lose any. At our house, most of our flashcards are everywhere because my kids toss them in the air and they end up under the couch and behind our book shelves.

How fun are these magnetic design sets? I know my kids love magnets, so being able to be creative and change up the faces as they playwould make for a great time at our house.

If you have an older boy or girl on your list, why not consider one of these themed sticky note pads? It gives them the opportunity to make lists and jot their ideas down. I remember doing this as a kid and it made be feel like I was so old.

I also love these create-a-card packs. How great is it to get kids in the habit of making their own thank you cards? They can be creative and polite at the same time.

Galison Mudpuppy sent us two 12-piece puzzles and a set of the ring flash cards. All three items we received were perfect for our kids. None of them have really loved puzzles yet, so 12 pieces was a challenge for them. They really loved the idea of being able to see the picture of what it should look like though and then putting the pieces in place. These puzzles come neatly packaged in a reusable bag that has the image of the finished puzzle on the front and a zip-like closure. The puzzle pieces are nice and heavy, so I know that they’ll withstand the abuse my three year old triplets will give them.

The ring flash cards we received were the Under the Sea themed ones that offer shapes and colors. My kids immediately grabbed these flash cards and flipped through each one– tellomg me what they saw. Along the way, I was able to point out shapes and colors to them, too. All while keeping them together, which makes me very happy!
