Traveling with Children during the Holidays?

The only thing like being home for the holidays (when your on the go) is the family that surround you.  To give babies a comforting ease while traveling there a few things you need to pack up.  Get your list out and jot these down..you’ll need peace on the road.  Depending on if your going South or North makes a big difference to what you pack.  Swimsuits or Snowsuits.  If your going to sandy beaches (I’m jealous) and you will need baby banz sunglasses and protective hats and swimwear to keep baby comfy and safe.   Baby Banz also makes baby earmuffs, ski goggles (seasoned with cuteness) and waterproof coveralls.

Now that you have the appropriate outerwear packed up it’s time to stress out about the road trip.  The dreaded “are we there yet” questions that will be asked more times than you care to count.  Keep ‘em entertained and they will be quiet.  It’s true, just grab some engaging travel games and remember to pick out different toys for each age group.  I have four kids so I would need lots to plan out here.  Hence why I don’t travel much.  Wee babies just need some hanging activity toys, rattle to annoy the adults, (which will be your babies fave for sure).  Some travel toys for toddlers would include fun binoculars for sight seeing on their open road safari.  A pop-a-tot activity center comes in most handy for hotel stays folds up easy you’ll never know it’s in the trunk.

Now that you have made it to Aunt Sue’s and your ready to unpack and enjoy the Holidays you’ve been dreaming of (or you fought your husband 5 times to cancel for the sake of sanity) it’s time for play.  I like to treat my kids to new toys when we are going on an ‘adventure’.  Makes the time more special and something to lead up to.  “I have a new toy for you when we get there..now be quiet.”  Melissa and Doug toys are my favorite way to embrace the “old school” appreciation toys.  The Abby and Emma Magnetic Dress-Up Set is a great toy kids can play in car or anywhere.  You keep the magnetic set in the box provided at purchase to keep it organized.
