Monday Movie Review: ABC Family’s Switched at Birth Volume 1 on DVD + Giveaway

Before you grab a buttery, greasy handful of popcorn (movie theater butter) brace yourself for a Monday Movie review that is not so much a movie..but an ABC Family series.  Because I know a good thing when I see it I have to add this title as a must watch.  Beware: addiction to sign language is inevitable.

ABC Family’s Switched at Birth: Volume 1 just released, 12/13. The show stars Lea Thompson (Back To The Future, “Caroline In The City”), Vanessa Marano (“Gilmore Girls”), Lucas Grabeel (Disney Channels “High School Musical”), and Katie Leclerc (“Veronica Mars”).

My husband and I found Switched at Birth on Netflix awhile back. One pilot and we were hooked and pretty much ready to take classes to learn sign language. What’s the sign for < i love this show > ? Bay and Daphne are opposites to say the least. One can hear, one can’t; one is responsible and obeys the rules, yeah and the other doesn’t; one has black hair, and the other has red. Once you start watching you’ll see what I’m talking about. I can’t go into too many details because there are some big surprises in this series and I’m looking forward to the new ones. I miss the characters!
