Review: Keurig Barista Prima Coffeehouse Italian Roast Decaf

Feeding the addiction without the shakes!

Rich. Dark. European. sounds kinda like the perfect recipe for a husband.  I did, however, end up with Middle-Class. Pale.  & American and even though I can’t say I’ve taken a cruise down the  ravine   or been serenaded in like..ever, I’m still happy.  Besides having your health is important, right?!   If I did decide to travel the world I might want to drop in one of the finest coffeehouses in Europe to satisfy my exquisite taste.  In the case that never happens (and it won’t) I can close my eyes, sip on Keurig Barista Prima Coffehouse blend, and imagine a waiter full of accent and charm is serving me.  When the cat knocks over your cup on the counter and your kids are late for pre-school it’s time to wake up and drink up as much good as your day is going to get.  The best part of this blend is you don’t have to be a million miles from home to appreciate the fine flavors developed by skilled baristas.  In fact: according to a recent study conducted by the Mount Sinai School in New York, “the [decaf coffee] drink could improve the memory of people suffering from diseases of the brain or age-related forgetfulness, and may even prevent symptoms from appearing in the first place.” <<<um I’ll have seconds, please.

If you find yourself late in the afternoon yearning for some coffee beverage without the pick-me-up (that’s code for caffeine) you need to grab de-caf.  Now, I think decaf is GREAT for late night cravings and afternoon unexpected guests but for the morning I’m dumb without my coffee.  Been known to put donuts in the toaster and raise my hand to talk at home.  I should come with a warning.

Decaf Italian Roast

This robust, heavy-bodied decaf with its ripe fruit and berry notes epitomizes the time-honored Italian tradition of dark-roasted coffee house brews.  Bold yet ideally balanced, with a subtle hint of smokiness and a sweet, clean finish, our Italian Roast is a hearty and flavorful testament to the art of dark roasting.

My Review: It doesn’t take a coffee lover to tell you which coffee is the finest.  Na, it does.  As much as I would love to say I’m the expert, I’m not.  However, your in luck because I love coffee, and have for all of ONE year.  Yep, I actually started drinking coffee a tad over a year ago.  So, no I’m not an expert but I do know what’s right for ME.  I have tried a lot of coffee since I started the new addiction to taste and high-energy (holla if your with me!) and this blend is pretty friendly with my taste buds.
