The day in a life of a little girl. Pig tails and pretty pink nail polish aren’t the only fancy fun characteristics. Tea parties are necessary and encourage imagination (plus proper form). Sipping a pretend beverage isn’t the only hype for little girls these days. Tea Collection is an online clothing boutique for girls, boys, and women offer up style and comfortable fashion.
Tea for Two
Tea Collection recently launched their Bali line of clothing for kids. At Tea Collection the designers don’t just name a clothing line, they live it. When inspiration calls, Tea Collection follows and especially when that call leads to defining culture in clothing. Their latest destination in Bali brings bold colors and happiness into your hearts and homes this Spring and Summer 2012.
We created the Legong Dancers tee for girls to honor all the Balinese dancers. You’ll love the wardrobe harmony emanating from our Poleng skirt and dress for girls and the bold boys shorts.
Review: I was able to shop some of Tea Collections Bali clothing line and I went straight to the girls section. Having two girls, and Easter around the corner I knew Tea Collection would allow their creative, fun personalities to come alive.
First up we have Livi, age 3, personality is STRONG WILLED. Loves to sneak candy bars, likes to paint her own fingernails, wears dresses everywhere, boss her older siblings around, and even wears the queen tiara to bed. This gal is serious about fashion and can make tutu’s look like an everyday staple. Behind every sweet smile is an agenda. And she usually wins. Here Alivia is wearing the Ubud Ikat Dress by Tea Collection in a size 3. The neon pink ornate flower embroidery on this Ikat dress offers a burst of color and the cut of this dress reminds me of a babydoll.
Meet Belle, she is 8 years old. Filled with sweetness, the saying ‘sugar and spice and all things nice’ applies with this one. She loves to read, write in her journal, and tell great stories, she is passionate and loving. She enjoys fashion and all things pretty if asked but will never demand to wear a certain item of clothing (as her sister will do) and accepts all styles I recommend. I couldn’t ask for a better child. Below she is wearing the Lotus Vines Dress by Tea Collection. Like I said she is 8, however, Isabelle is very petite so I opted a size 7 and it has room to grow into. This dress allows room to play, skip, and twirl. A dress you can sit around in and feel comfortable and fashionable. The Lotus Vines is inspired by multiple fabrics incorporated into one dress, twice the fashion with a modern twist. Rich purples and blues with the lotus print paired with painted vines on the gathered waist make this dress a statement.
The Surf Lily Top caught my eye right away at Tea Collection and there was no way I was checking out with out it in my cart. The flow of this shirt is fun and carefree mixed with rich cultured style. It reminds me of a fabulous piece of artwork flowing in the wind. Belle enjoyed running around in this girls summer top and so will your child. The front of this top is cut a bit shorter than the back signifying this years biggest fashion trends.
I also snagged some girls leggings for Alivia to compliment her Ubud Ikat Dress. This petal pushers come in coral with an eye loop at the base of the leg for unique flare.
After I used my Tea Collection credit I went back and bought more. I saw a pair of Sanuk’s on sale for my son and couldn’t resist their price. Please note these shoes are no longer available online because they sold out. Kaleb, my oldest, is 10 and absolutely hates fashion. He does, however, love comfort and slip-on shoes so these boy’s sandals are perfect for him. I argued they were too big but my husband has Sanuk’s and he said they will be fine and Kaleb doesn’t want to part with them so it’s settled. You can still find some Sanuk sandals at Tea Collection, just not the ones listed below.
