Team Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare Party Review (+ Giveaway)

I envision  a few of these boys in 10 years to be pretty scary drivers.  Of course it’s just play and yes they will grow and mature leaps and bounds in the next decade, but I’m just sayin’….  I’m staying off the road.  I received the new Team Hot Wheels party pack for my son, Jace, and up to 3 of his friends to enjoy.  We set up the track at the park on a gorgeous day and to my surprise they spend a long time playing with it.  I thought they would tire and head for the monkey bars but instead they dominated the track.

Double Dare Snare
allows boys to race 1:64 scale Hot Wheels® side by side, down a twisty track, through a hair-raising loop and over a jump at the edge of a steep canyon. Inspired by the real life crew of Team Hot Wheels™ drivers, this daring stunt set proves that two vehicles are better than one.

  • The winning vehicle in the Double Dare Snare™ is carefully scooped to safety by a quick snapping snare and saved from a perilous fall. Meanwhile, the slower car must attempt the harrowing jump or plummet to the ground trying.
  • To keep the race fair, a distinct starting point is strategically built in so each race is “clean”.

Who said you had to keep the toys indoors?  Mattel is keeping kids active this summer with the all new Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare.  Same great mechanics and design as our other Hot Wheels tracks but this one offers a double dose of fun adding competition and speed.

Fabulous View:  What can I say?  Ugh.  So way Cool.  Mkay, Double Chocolate-Chocolate Chip Ice Cream on a 90 degree day Cool.  That speaks volumes to any kid.  One of the children’s mom agreed they spent a long time enjoying this track set.  Her son also has Hot Wheels tracks at home and enjoys putting them together.  We agree, as moms (‘er experts), imaginative play accompanied with building and creativity make for a great children’s toy.
