[dropcap]W[/dropcap]e’re back to school. I have longer hours at the school this year which means I’ll be eating my lunches at the school. I haven’t ate lunch in school for, oh, a long time. So, I bought my first lunch bag, when I was buying my kids lunchboxes and it was pretty exciting for me. Picking your lunchbox is only half the battle I found out. Stuffing it full without breaking a zipper proved to be a fun challenge.
I’m not a big plastic bag girl. I usually run out of baggies and forget to buy new ones. (raising hand) I was the mom sending paper towel wrapped sandwiches to school for the kids last year. (giggles)
This year I found the eco-friendly bags for sandwiches and snacks to be easy on the eyes (there so cute!! gush gush) but how do you clean them? After each sandwich has takin’ a ride to school in it? Every so often..? Is that healthy? Hum…so I didn’t buy any.
Then, like a storm approaching from the east I was hit with the best lunch kit option ever. Like ever ever. How did we survive without it ever. Ok, maybe that’s an exaggeration, or just my opinion (both?). Without further ado I give you my new lunch buddy:
Rubbermaid Lunchblox Sandwich Kit
(and so much more…)
Rubbermaid *New* Lunchblox Sandwich Kit offers different sizes compartments for your food that all snap together. If you could taste organized this would be it. Also included in this kit is a Blue Ice™ freezer tray that also allows you to snap the plastic containers into place.
First I filled each container with my favorite foods. Yum. Can’t wait for lunch tomorrow. Then I snapped each container into place and put in fridge for storage.
What I Love…
( with cherries on top )
- space saving in refrigerator and lunch bag
- Blue Ice™ pack
- perfect portion containers
- BPA free
- microwave, dishwasher, freezer safe
- snapping containers
Now that lunch is packed and ready for tomorrow I’ll have more time in the morning to get some important things done before work. Like double mascara application. Or something like that.
