A crust is only a crust if that’s what you make of it. I enjoy a variety of pizza toppings and options to cook. I like cold vegetable pizza, mexican pizza, breakfast pizza, yeah pretty much a pizza lover. We usually order out pizza but I’m not sure why with all the possibilities lurking in my cupboards. I have some GREAT recipes for cheese bread and they would be delicious paired up with this new whole grain crust. My whole family loved the cheese pizza we made tonight. I like onions, spinach, gr. peppers on mine but I had to go with the picky eaters club and do without for tonight. This tube makes a large pizza big enough for a family of six with some leftovers. My kids and husband wouldn’t stop complementing this homemade pizza. They are ready for pizza night every night.
Back to School and ready to roll out the pizza dough. I know, I know your sick and tired of hearing about Back To School this and that but I promise I won’t talk about the books and pencil jazz. I’m only here to offer you a quick meal idea for to keep your life simple and your family healthy.

Hi, I'm

I did a lot of cooking before college and I do a lot of cooking now but I only cooked about once a month during college (usually baking). The first time I cut an onion after graduating I nearly died- my eyes teared up for over 30 minutes even with the windows open. I guess my body had just de-sensitized over the year.
When I started cooking, I didnt’ realize how long it took to bake chicken breasts. They came out tasting like a rubber chicken.
Everytime I’m in the kitchen it’s a tragedy.
Just last week I made banana muffins and set the timer wrong instead of 20 minutes, I set for 20 hours and forgot about them until I started smelling them…a little over cooked but not completely burnt just not the usually moist muffins.
Company was at the door and my kitchen was a mess. I quickly hid the dirty dishes, including a plastic colander, in the oven. Several days later, I was preheating the oven when I noticed the smell of burning plastic….
Once my husband said I could give the leftovers to the dog and I told him we didnt have a dog. Guess that meal was pretty bad.
The first time I made a pie, it looked horrible. It looked like someone had dropped it. It actually tasted pretty good though.
I almost always burn my bread and rolls.
i dont have very good luck cooking,,, the first time i made macaroni and cheese the noodles were like mashed potatoes by the time i was done
The first time I cut up a raw chicken breast when I was a young cook. There was more chicken in the garbage than in the pan. I was grossed out and kept cutting the icky parts and throwing them away. My mom came home and laughed at the amount in the pan. I swear I am better now
. Thanks!
worst moments in the kitchen…hmm lets see i remember trying to cook in the toaster oven one time and i didnt know what temp. to cook my food on at the end i wasnt sure if i had made a chicken sandwich or if it was fish come to find out i was eating still raw chicken.
I once made chocolate fondue for my family. The flame on the burner was too high and the chocolate started bubbling, then shooting out of the fondue pot and actually got all over the dining room ceiling.
When I left a pan on the stove and set the kitchen on fire!
When I used the wrong pan to make brownies in the oven and the pan exploded into a bunch of pieces as did the brownies! that was a fun mess to clean up
Zesting the skin off of my finger with my zester. yikes!
My worst moment when I tried to make Rice Crispy Treats. I wound up baking them in the oven of course the wrong way to make them but I had no other way to make them since I messed up the stove top method. Needless to say they came out hard as rocks. Never again.
i ran a blender full of cherry milkshake, with the lid not on snugly. what a mess.
I think I have more disaster stories than good stories!. One that I can think of is the time I was making a cake and lifted the mixer up a little too high and dry cake mix went flying everywhere.
My disaster story is easy — cotton candy machine and cotton candy mix equals sugar blown everywhere! enough said LOL a sticky situation indeed.
My worst moment was when I was boiling eggs…and forgot about them! UGH…boy did that smell horrible!
My worst moment is every time I have to cut onions my eyes start to burn and swell. I DESPISE cutting onions I swear I’m allergic to them.
@Monica I cry like a baby when cutting onions. My kids always know when I’ve been in the kitchen with onions. I’m usually screaming about it too.
@Laura I have also done that with eggs and just plain boiling water until it’s all evaporated.
I’m no good in the kitchen now that I think about it!
I recently bought a gorgeous chef’s knife that I was so excited about, and the first time I used it I sliced a good chunk off the tip of my finger!
I always cut my fingers. I cut my finger on Friday night.
I made brownies from scratch as part of a meal for the guy I was dating…only I forgot the flour. But, I will say that the warm chocolate goo tasted delicious!
I went to Church and left my potato’s boiling on the stove, lucky for me no fire just a burnt pan when I got home!
My disaster involved a hand, a broken glass and sink full of bubbly suds. Later it involved stitches. Enough said.
A long time I mad a pie but forgot to put some of the ingredients in. It tasted terrible.
I made cookies but didn’t separate them enough on the pan and they all combined into one big cookie.
I was cutting onions and I usually wear glasses. Well, this time I wasn’t and as I cut into one the onion shot some juice right into my eye.
got no cooking stories
i was making a pie from scratch and left the plastic lining thing in the pan!
I was making french toast and used some deep fryer oil my husband brought home from work and it cought fire i got scared and called 911 and all it was was smoke
I recently was slicing a bagel for breakfast and sliced through my thumb. I needed 5 stitches!
I was pouring coffee and burned my hand!
I tend to over cook chicken. A lot.
The first time I cooked with fresh garlic I though a clove was the whole thing and needless to say the sauce I made was totally inedible.
I’ll never forget the time I was popping popcorn on the stove and forgot about it. It caught on fire and I had to throw the kettle out the window. It was ruined.
My parents used to use old vegetable oil bottles to contain reusable fish fry grease. I didn’t know that, and put what I thought was vegetable oil in a batch of cupcakes.
Worst Cupcakes Ever.
I touched my eyes after touching peppers. It hurt for a long time!
First time frying with greese got greese splatterd on me!!!

Whoops! Dropped the crown roast when going form the kitchen to the dining room!
the worst would be the time I dropped a hot casserole in a Pyrex dish which shattered when it hit the ground, Dinner ruined and glass and food splatter EVERYWHERE, took forever to clean up
Jalapeno peppers first time with me too… ugh made my hands burn so bad!
Recently I dropped a canister full of flour on the floor – flour went everywhere

I dropped the green beans on the floor during my first Thanksgiving with my husband.
I’ve blown up more hotdogs in the microwave than I can count by getting distracted and not watching them.
Mine has to be when I finished deep frying something for dinner. I let it cool, then went to dump and oil and clean it out. Only I didn’t make it. I dumped the entire pot of oil all over my kitchen floor. Oil. Floor. Bad mess! It took hours, lots of dish soap, and about 5 rolls of paper towels to clean it up, and I swear my kitchen floor was still shiny for like 3 months!

I doubled the ingredients when baking a cake (for the first time) and it overflowed into the oven!
Just yesterday i was baking had a brand new bag of powdered sugar. Tried to open it and shot powdered sugar ALL over the place. It took me almost an hour to clean it up.
