Jell-O Mix-Ins Making Snacktime Interesting

It’s impossible for me to say Jell-O without singing the jingle and spelling it out. It’s a brand I remember clearly from childhood and has not ever let us down. From the Jell-O jigglers that Bill Cosby taught to make to the delicious individual pudding cups that fit nicely into snack time.

My kids like treats for snacktime and there is usually some guilt slapping me in the face if we only grab for cookies. Jell-O brand products are always a treat but also offer low calories and made with milk for calcium.

Just when you thought Jell-O snacks were fine the way they were let me introduce you to the new product that will be in your grocers refrigerator section soon. Jell-O mix-ins may seem ordinary enough but once you see all of the
different varieties you’ll change your tune.

The line includes six yummy flavors of refrigerated ready-to-eat cups, including: German Chocolate Cake, Turtle Sundae, Oreo Dirt Cup, Birthday Cake, Banana Caramel Pie and Strawberry Shortcake.

Fabulous Review:

“can we get more of those cake kinds of those” Jace, 6 years old

“these are my favorite, can you pack them in my lunch?” Belle, 8 years old

“you didn’t save the turtle one for me???” Jake, 33 years old (and still mad at me)

Obviously this was one of those “it’s a hit” products we have tested.  There was .50 cents off coupons in each package and with our awesome Kroger tripling up to .50 cents we will be buying a lot of these.  And eating them all in one day.  I picked out the Turtle Sundae and loved it, then hid it in the fridge from my husband so I could take it to work with me the next day.  I’m so clever.  And evil.  Mixin’ in up baby!

If you like crunchy stuff mixed in with your pudding then you’ve come to the right product.  I like it, I love texture though.  My kids, aka the World’s Pickiest Eaters, all loved the Birthday Cake and Oreo Dirt Cup, oh and the Strawberry Shortcake one.

Purchase: Jell-O Mixups at a grocery store near you.  Average cost depends on store pricing.  You can find them for $1.50 for a 2 cup package.

Visit Jell-O on Facebook and @Jello for more information on fun promotions and new products like the Mixups and start ‘mixing’ things up!

Disclosure: I received product at no cost to me for this review.  I was not paid to post and my opinions are my own and honest.
