Life’s Too Short for Ugly Notebooks! May Books {Giveaway!}

I’ve always had specific requirements in my planner. Pre-kids it needed to have a monthly calendar so I could see things all together. I’d need extra pages to write out my lists and room on the monthly calendar to fill in any appointments or weekends away (those days are over, haha!). Now I need room for all of my kids’ activities and I need extra space to remind myself times to drop off an pick them up again. The problem is, I need my planner to go with me everywhere, but I hate big bulky books to have to carry around. That’s why I love May Books. They offer me space to organize my life in a compact and stylish planner.

May Books also offers you the choice of exactly which pattern, monogram and font you’d like- so you can make your May Book your very own. Here’s a few fun patterns that caught my eye…

Once you decide on a pattern you’d like for your cover, you can choose a frame & font for your monogram, too…

May Books offers a fun, interactive site to help you try out a few looks before you make your decision. I love being able to see my name or initials on the planner especially in the different fonts you can choose from. Here’s one I just tried out (without my name, of course).

I had fun deciding on which pattern, font and monogram I wanted for my own May Book. After making at least 5 or 6 different ones, I finally decided on Greek Key Green with a pink square and Stella font. When my May Book arrived, I was really pleased. The book was made and shipped fairly quickly. I think I received it just over a week of ordering it. I love the cover, not only the pattern and font I chose, but also the material its made of. It reminds me of a nice vinyl, that is both flexible and durable. I need that in my house- within a few days of receiving it, my kids got hold of my May Book with stick fingers and luckily its easy to wipe clean.  The planner coincides with the school year, so it starts in August. I’m happy with that, because that’s when my busy time starts, too! The monthly section I’ve used for appointments and meetings along with making lists for their birthday party (there’s a notes section along the side of each month).

May Books is giving away a planner to one lucky reader!
