“Must Have” Swimwear by Aerin Rose {Review & Giveaway}

Its time to talk swimsuits. I know, I know most of you are horrified at just the thought of putting one on again. It could actually be easy, if you could just find a suit that caters to you and your shape. The majority of the swimsuits out there come in only a handful of sizes (S, M, L, XL) and they expect that you can just make one of those sizes work. Even if I buy separates I can’t always find the right top to fit my bust-line. Have no fear because Aerin Rose swimwear offers you not only separates but also actual bra sizes for your tops. Swimsuit shopping just got a little easier.

I was sent two of my favorite suits to try out for myself. Now let me tell you, I’ve gained a few pounds since last swimsuit season so I was a little nervous about ordering something online without knowing for sure how it would fit. I decided to try out the Estes Park drape front bandeau blouson and the the NIWA Y-front tankini. Both suits are tankinis, which I love since my bottoms usually can be a size medium but my top needs to be larger. I love, love, love that I could order my tops in my actual bra size. I asked Aerin Rose specifically which of those two styles would work best for my bust-line, since I definitely need the support. I assumed the second suit — the Y-front tankini would have the most support because of the thicker straps. I was pleasantly surprised though, because the bandeau blouson actually has under-wire cups and really good support, too! I really love how the Estes Park one looks and feels on me. The drape front helps to hide my extra pounds I added since last season (of course I gain it all in the middle). My husband really likes the NIWA Y-front one better though, saying it seems to give me more cleavage (umm…not what I really was looking for! haha). Both fit me really well and I ordered them both with medium bottoms (which is really my typical size) and 34D tops. I was a little worried because the size was 34 D/DD but I had no issues filling it out at all. If you are concerned about quality for a brand you’ve never purchased from, no worries from Aerin Rose. Both suits and the matching cover up are excellent quality and look like they could last a long time.

I sincerely want to thank you for posting the photo of the Aerin Rose Estes Park bandeau suit. It has been on my radar for several months now. In some online photos the suit looks like it has navy in it. In some, the colors look like more of a camo effect, which I know would look horrible on me. Your photo is actually better than any I’ve seen online. I’ve been waiting and watching different websites hoping for a review of that bandeau!

I have had good luck with swimsuits online. Only once did I not like the fit.
